Mr. Hermann currently serves as CEO/CIO at Leste Group. Mr. Hermann is a Securities Portfolio Manager authorized by the CVM and holds the CGA certification from ANBIMA. He began his career at Banco Pactual in 1993 and was a fixed-income analyst (1993-1997), co-manager of the equities area (1998-2008), and was in charge of the equities desk of emerging markets and structured products and derivatives Latam (2008-2009). In 2009, he co-founded BTG Asset Management, one of the largest asset managers in Latin America, heading its Equities division. In January 2010, he became Senior Vice Presidency at Banco BTG Pactual, where he remained until January 2014, when he left to found Leste.
Mr. de Sabrit is the head of Leste Group’s Credit, Real Estate and Capital Market business units, being a Managing Partner and member of the Executive Committee. He began his career in 1998 as a fixed-income securities trader at Unibanco. In 2000, he founded Bulltick Capital Markets and was the partner responsible for the Brazilian office, participating on the development of a US$980 million asset backed securities fund in 2005. In 2006, Mr. de Sabrit was in charge of the distribution area of the Latour Capital Group and one year later he was appointed as the Head of Investment Banking at Planner Corretora, where he coordinated the structuring of debentures in volumes exceeding R$ 2 billion. From 2009 to 2015, Mr. de Sabrit was a partner at Polo Capital, managing the Structured Credit funds, with assets in excess of R$ 1.3 billion. Mr. de Sabrit received a Business degree from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado in August 2000.
Ms. Souza currently serves as the CFO of Leste Group. Ms. Souza is a Securities Portfolio Manager authorized by the CVM and holds the CGA certification from ANBIMA. Ms. Souza was a derivatives analyst and derivatives trader for the local equity fund at Banco BBM (now Banco BOCOM BBM), from 1995 to 1998.
From 1998 to 2007, Ms. Souza worked for Banco Pactual, as risk analyst of equities funds, derivatives trader, equity analyst and manager of the bank’s Latam funds. In 2007, she joined Paineiras Asset Management as the partner responsible for multimarkets and equity funds. Between 2009 and 2011, she was the Chief of Staff at the Secretaria Municipal de Fazenda of Rio de Janeiro, working on the restructuring of the city’s finances and implementation of programs such as the Nota Carioca and Rio Investors Day. Ms. Souza graduated in Electrical and Production Engineering from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro with an MBA in Finance in 1997 and a Masters in Finance and Business Economics from Escola de Pós-Graduação em Economia (EPGE) of Fundação Getulio Vargas in Rio de Janeiro in 2008.
Mr. Lorimer Turner currently serves as Co-Founder and Director of Cohort Limited, a Bermuda company founded in July 2012 which provides corporate management and consultancy services to offshore companies and funds and acts as a Trading Member of the Bermuda Stock Exchange. From August 2001 to July 2012, Mr. Lorimer Turner served as Managing Director of Jupiter Asset Management (Bermuda) Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Jupiter Fund Management Plc, a leading U.K. fund management group listed on the London Stock Exchange with products that range from unit trusts to investment companies and offshore funds.
Mr. Lorimer Turner received an LL.B. from the University of Southampton, England in 1989 and completed the Law Society Finals from the College of Law at Lancaster Gate in London in 1990. Mr. Lorimer Turner is a qualified lawyer in England & Wales (admitted in 1992) and Hong Kong (admitted in 1995) and a Bermuda qualified barrister and attorney (admitted in 1998). Since March 2014 Mr. Lorimer Turner serves as a director of Watford Holdings Ltd., a Bermuda exempted company whose common shares are listed on the NASDAQ Global Market. Since September 2020 Mr. Lorimer Turner serves as a director of G2D Investments, Ltd., a Bermuda exempted company whose common shares are listed on the Bermuda Stock Exchange.
Mr. McComb currently serves as a director of Camlann Holdings Ltd., a Bermuda holding company founded in 2002, and Molto Management Ltd., an affiliated Bermuda company incorporated in 1997, through which he provides services as an independent director of insurance and reinsurance companies and investment funds. From 2007 to December 2018, Mr. McComb served as director and principal officer of Bermuda subsidiaries of Charles Taylor Limited, with three regulated insurance management companies and two Class 3 regulated segregated account (re)insurers. Between 2003 and 2007 Mr. McComb was the owner, director and principal officer of the Allegro group of companies in Bermuda, a regulated insurance management company and two Class 3 regulated segregated account (re)insurers. From 1994 to 2003 Mr. McComb was part owner and CEO of Powerscourt Management Ltd., managing a portfolio of insurance and reinsurance company clients. Between 1985 and 1994 Mr. McComb worked for Alexander & Alexander Services Inc. in Bermuda and Singapore. From 1983 to 1984 Mr. McComb was an audit senior with Deloitte in Bermuda, prior to which he worked in the same role for Stoy Hayward & Co. (now BDO) in London from 1980 to 1983. Mr. McComb was made a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales in 1983 and received a Diploma in Company Direction from the Chartered Institute of Directors in 2016. Mr. McComb received a B.Sc. honours in Economics from the University of Hull in 1980. Mr. Machado has 27 years of experience and is recognized as one of the main references and leaders in the Real Estate Funds and Securitization industry in Brazil. From 2015 to 2020, he was a partner at Read Invest, a boutique company specialized in real estate investments; a partner at XP Investimentos, the leading investment platform in the Brazilian market, from 2011 to 2015; co-founder in 1999 and a partner from 1999 to 2011 of Brazilian Finance and Real Estate – BFRE (Brazilian Mortgages, Brazilian Securities, Brazilian Capital and BM Sua Casa), a pioneer and leader in developing financial solutions for the Brazilian real estate market; co-founder in 1994 and a partner from 1994 to 1999 of Mercúrio DTVM, a financial institution specializing in real estate operations, where, in 1995, he launched the first real estate fund to operate in the Brazilian market. In addition, he has been the coordinator for approximately 15 years of the three forums that bring together the main players in the Real Estate Funds and Securitization industry in Brazil, ANBIMA, SECOVI-SP and BOVESPA. Mr. Machado earned a bachelor’s degrees in data processing from the Catholic University of Brasília in 1989 and Accounting Sciences at the University of Brasília in 1992.
Mr. Rawet joined Leste Group in 2019, holding the position of Director of Structured Products. Previously, Mr. Rawet has held relevant positions at the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission – CVM. Between 2015 and 2019, he was Superintendent of Securities Registration and between 2009 and 2015, Mr. Rawet has held various positions in the Public Companies Department. Previously, he worked for several years in renowned institutions of the Brazilian financial market, in the areas of Mergers and Acquisitions, Private and Public Equities, at Banco Pactual from 1996 to 2002, Pactual Electra from 2002 to 2004, Pactual Capital Corporation – NY (2005), and Stratus Capital Partners from 2006 to 2007. Mr. Rawet earned the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation in 2004 and is a member of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB/RJ). Mr. Rawet received a bachelor’s degree in Production Engineering from UFRJ in 2001, a law degree from UERJ in 1998, and an MBA in Market Finance from IBMEC in 2001.
Mr. Souza began his career in 1999 working as a senior consultant for Roland Berger Strategy Consultants on strategic planning projects for companies in various sectors in Brazil and Germany. Later, Mr. Souza worked at Deutsche Bank in London in the stress debt department, from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, he returned to Brazil to work in Private Equity at GP Investimentos, where he led the acquisition of hotels and the formation of the Brazil Hospitality Group (BHG) until 2011. In BHG, in 2009 Mr. Souza led the merger of the company with InvestTur, assuming the position of Investor Relations Director of the company with shares listed on the BMFBovespa. In 2011, he assumed the position of Senior Vice President of Host Hotels & Resorts with responsibility for leading the acquisitions and growth in Latin America of the largest US real estate fund focused on hotel assets. More recently, Mr. Souza served as Senior Investment Executive for London and Regional Properties, a global real estate investment firm with a portfolio of US$11 billion in assets in Europe, the US and the Caribbean, where he was responsible for the acquisition of over US$ 300 million in US real estate assets from 2017 to 2020. Currently, Mr. Souza acts as Portfolio Manager for Real Estate US of Leste Group. Mr. Souza has a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from UNICAMP in 1998 and an MBA in Finance and Entrepreneurship from Chicago Booth School of Business in 2005.
Mr. Lustre has been Director of Distribution and Investor Relations for Leste Group since January 2018. Before joining Leste, he was responsible for International Business Development and Distribution at Votorantim Asset Management from 2011 to 2014. Previously, from 2009 to 2011 he held the position of Director of Distribution and Products at the Stratus Group, was a partner at FRAM Capital in 2008, and product and relationship manager at Itau Asset Management between 2000 and 2007. Mr. Lustre received a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from USP in 2000 and an MBA in finance from IBMEC – INSPER in 2002.
